For many in Blairsville and throughout Union County, a walk through Meeks Park was never quite complete without seeing Stephen Johnson.

Known affectionately as "The Squirrel Man." Stephen became a familiar

and beloved figure whose kindness, gentle spirit, and love for God's

creation brought smiles to countless people.

Whether feeding squirrels, greeting visitors, or simply enjoying the

beauty around him, Stephen left a lasting impression on all who crossed

his path. His legacy continues to live on in the hearts of family, friends,

and the community he loved.
