PRESERVING VETERANS' STORIES

A CONVERSATION ACROSS GENERATIONS

Join Dr. Coral May Grout, National President of the American Legion Auxiliary, and Florence Ford Gerrard,

a remarkable 101-year-old World War II Women's Army Corps veteran, for a heartfelt conversation about

military service, personal hardships, resilience, and the importance of preserving veterans' stories.

Every Veteran Has a Story. Every Story Deserves to Be Remembered.

THANK YOU TO THE

NORTH GEORGIA HONOR GUARD

For bringing dignity to grieving families of United States Veterans. Every flag folded and every salute, shows a profound respect for the sacrifices made.

WHY WE OFFER PLAQUES

The Holly Hill Hero Legacy Project was created to preserve personal histories and document the contributions of individuals whose lives and service deserve to be remembered.

Through historical research, photographs, military and public records, recorded interviews, and digital biographies, each Hero Page helps preserve information that might otherwise be lost.

The educational Hero Wall provides a public opportunity to discover these stories and explore the history behind the individuals being honored.

Although the Hero Wall recognizes veterans and other individuals, our historical documentation and educational resources are intended to benefit the broader public and future generations.

SUPPORT VETERANS' HISTORY & EDUCATION

Every veteran has a story worth preserving.

Through the Holly Hill Hero Legacy Project, we research, document, and share veterans' military service histories using historical records, photographs, personal accounts, and digital educational resources.

The Hero Wall and online Hero Pages help preserve these stories and make them accessible to future generations.

Hero Plaque purchases support the commemorative products, historical research, and educational services provided through the project.

REAL STORIES

Hero Project videos bring recognition to the brave men and women, past and present, who prove what heroism is. Their stories encourage others to live with the same bravery. Being an American isn’t just about a place on a map; it’s about a heart of grit and sacrifice for our nation and for each other.
