Holly Hill Cemetery Inc. is the established nonprofit cemetery organization dating to 1991 and is responsible

for cemetery-related operations and burial services.

Donations & Tax Information

Contributions are designated for the receiving organization. The tax treatment of a contribution depends on the

organization's status, the nature of the contribution, and applicable federal law. Holly Hill Veterans Cemetery Inc. has submitted an application for recognition of federal tax-exempt status under

Section 501(c)(3). The application remains under IRS review. Federal recognition has not yet been granted.

Contributions made while the application is pending are not assured to be tax-deductible. Certain voluntary contributions to qualifying nonprofit cemetery organizations, such as Holly Hill Cemetery Inc., may be deductible when dedicated to the care of the cemetery as a whole. Payments for burial lots, individual graves, or services do not automatically qualify as charitable deductions. Donors should consult their tax advisers regarding

individual deductibility.

Our Organizational Commitment

Although both organizations share a commitment to honoring veterans, they maintain distinct legal purposes

and responsibilities. Holly Hill Veterans Cemetery Inc. focuses on historical preservation and education. Holly Hill Cemetery Inc. manages cemetery and burial-related operations. The organizations maintain separate

federal EINs and financial records.
